The Rebbe just told me that they spoke about a case of matnas sh'chiv meira, where he contradicted a will that he had written up prior. It was a case that someone came to the Rebbe to arbitrate.
Amazing. To think these two tzaddikim's fathers were boyhood friends from Hornosteiple, both named Yaakov Yisroel after the same Y' Yaakov Yisroel of Cherkassy. To think the Rebbe's great-grandfather was the sandek of the Reb Chaim Kanievsky's father's bris. Thanks for these pictures.
