Most Important Shiur 1/4

...and we're back!

After an awesome and very busy Yom Tov and then some unfortunate computer trouble, we are finally back in the saddle and ready to continue bringing you the latest from the Rebbe, shlit"a.

After the Rebbe's surgery, he wasn't able to give his regular weekday morning shiur. It was not until after Yom Kippur that he started it up again.

There were three exceptional shiurim given between Yom Kippur and Sukkos, of which, along with the first shiur following Sukkos, the Rebbe said, "Those four shiurim were the most important ones I've given."

We bring you the first of those four shiurim. It revolves around the avodah of the four days between Yom Kippur and Sukkos but as you will clearly discern in the recording, there is something about the content and the urgency in the Rebbe's voice that tells us that this is really something we need to put emphasis on the whole year.

Many of you may be familiar with the concepts the Rebbe mentions in this shiur, most notably "koach hadimyon", the power of imagination. On various occasions the Rebbe has spoken about the necessity to enlist one's imagination's in tefilah, particularly. Here he speaks about utilizing it in regards to simcha, happiness. DOWNLOAD

The Rebbe continued to expand the idea of imagination over Yom Tov, and clarified how it is meant to be used. Bs"d, the details will be posted in the near future.

Thanks, looking forward to listening to these shiurim.

While i have only looked through certain parts a little bit and have not really learned it, i am pretty sure that the idea of using imagination and using it for tefillah is one of the main ideas in the Piaseczna's Hachsharas Haavreichim. From what i remember. Btw, his yartzeit was this week, the 4th of Cheshvan i think
